VALORANT patch notes
Riot publishes what they changed. We track what changed in the game’s own files — which is not always the same list.
Where to read the official notes
Riot publishes full patch notes on the official VALORANT site for every release, and those remain the authority on balance changes, bug fixes and agent tuning. We don’t reproduce them — a copy of someone else’s notes is worth nothing to you and nothing to us.
What we add
We snapshot the game’s content files twice a day and diff them. That surfaces things the notes don’t mention: cosmetics staged ahead of announcement, quiet changes to existing items, and content that appears and then disappears again.

Why the file diff is worth watching
Content reaches VALORANT’s public asset servers when Riot stages it for release, which is often days before the trailer. A bundle appearing in the files is therefore a reliable signal that it’s coming — though not a release date, since content can sit there for weeks.
It also catches the quiet edits. When an existing skin’s assets change without a mention in the notes, the diff sees it.
