How to request a refund

  1. 1

    Go to VALORANT support

Open support-valorant.riotgames.com and sign in with the Riot Account that made the purchase.

  2. 2

    Open your order history

Select Get My Order History. Every eligible purchase from the last 14 days is listed.

  3. 3

    Hit Refund on the item

Eligible items have a Refund button beside them. Items that have been used, upgraded or are outside the window won't.

  4. 4

    For VP, raise a ticket

Unused VP isn't refunded through order history — submit a support ticket instead, and the money returns to your original payment method.

Check before you load in

The single most common way people lose a refund is equipping a new skin and jumping straight into the range to look at it. That counts as using it. If there’s any chance you’ll want the money back, decide before you queue.

Common questions

What counts as 'using' a skin?

Reaching the loading screen of any mode with it equipped — and that includes the practice range and custom games. It's stricter than people expect: firing a single shot isn't required, merely loading in is enough to make it non-refundable.

Can I refund a bundle?

No. Bundles are non-refundable as a whole. If you think you might want to return something, buying the individual skins rather than the bundle keeps that option open — though it costs more up front.

Can I get real money back for VP I've already spent?

No. Once VP has been converted into an item, the money is gone; the only question is whether that item itself is refundable, and a refund returns VP rather than currency. Only unused VP can go back to your payment method.

What if I upgraded the skin with Radianite?

It's no longer refundable, and the Radianite is gone too — Radianite Points can't be refunded under any circumstances.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds processed through order history are usually instant. VP refunds go through a support ticket, so they take as long as the queue does.
