Is VALORANT crossplay?
Partly. Console players on PS5 and Xbox share lobbies with each other, but PC is walled off from console entirely — and always has been.

Why PC and console are kept apart
VALORANT is built around precise, low-recoil gunplay where a single tap to the head ends a duel. That rewards mouse aim in a way controller aim can’t match without heavy aim assist — and heavy aim assist would change the game’s character.
Rather than tune one input to feel like the other, Riot separated the pools. Console VALORANT has its own tuning as a result, so it isn’t simply the PC game with a controller bolted on.
Cross-progression: what does carry over
Sign in with the same Riot Account on any platform and your cosmetics come with you — skins, buddies, sprays, cards and Battle Pass progress all sync.
Your competitive rank does not. Each platform tracks its own, which means climbing on PC earns you nothing on console and vice versa.

Is VALORANT crossplay between PC and console?
No. PC and console players cannot queue together in any mode. Riot keeps the pools separate because mouse-and-keyboard and controller aim are difficult to balance against each other, and has said there are no current plans to change it.
Can PS5 and Xbox players play together?
Yes. Console crossplay is enabled by default between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and it covers every mode including Unrated, Competitive and Swiftplay.
Do my skins carry over between PC and console?
Yes. Cross-progression syncs your cosmetics and Battle Pass progress across every platform, as long as you sign in with the same Riot Account. What doesn't carry over is your competitive rank — each platform holds its own.
Is VALORANT Mobile crossplay?
No. VALORANT Mobile is a separate build with its own matchmaking, so it doesn't share lobbies with PC or console.
