Your eDPI on its own is just a number. This one places it against 494 real professional setups, so you can see whether you’re genuinely an outlier or simply think you are.

The spread is the point

The gap between the slowest and fastest professional here is enormous, and both ends contain players at the top of the game. That should settle the question of whether there’s a correct sensitivity: there isn’t.

What separates good aim from bad is muscle memory, and muscle memory only forms if the setting stops moving. Changing sensitivity every few days is the single most common way players prevent themselves from improving.

Common questions

What is eDPI?

Effective DPI: your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. It exists because neither number means anything alone — 400 DPI at high sensitivity and 1600 at low can produce identical aim, and eDPI is what makes them comparable.

What's a good eDPI for VALORANT?

There isn't one. The professional range is genuinely wide, which is the most useful thing this page can tell you: pick something in the common band and then stop changing it. Consistency beats the specific number by a distance.

Is eDPI comparable between games?

No. Each game scales sensitivity differently, so an eDPI of 300 in VALORANT and 300 in CS2 are different speeds. Use cm/360 to compare across games — that measures actual hand movement.

Should I copy a pro's eDPI?

It's a reasonable starting point but a poor destination. Pros pick a sensitivity that suits their desk space, grip and role, none of which are yours. Take one from the middle of the range and adjust from there.
