Bandit
On the Bandit, one headshot kills through a heavy shield, and 4 body shots kill through a heavy shield.
Shots to kill and time to kill
Shields absorb damage one-for-one, so a light shield puts an opponent on 125 effective health and a heavy shield on 150. Time to kill measures from the first bullet landing to the last, which is why a one-shot kill reads 0.00s.
0–10m152 head · 39 body · 33 legs
| Target | Headshots | TTK | Body shots | TTK | Leg shots |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| No shield | 1 | 0.00s | 3 | 0.39s | 4 |
| Light shield | 1 | 0.00s | 4 | 0.59s | 4 |
| Heavy shield | 1 | 0.00s | 4 | 0.59s | 5 |
Between 0 and 10 metres, a headshot deals 152 damage and kills through a heavy shield outright — one bullet ends the duel. Body shots take 4 through a heavy shield at this range.
10–30m128 head · 39 body · 33 legs
| Target | Headshots | TTK | Body shots | TTK | Leg shots |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| No shield | 1 | 0.00s | 3 | 0.39s | 4 |
| Light shield | 1 | 0.00s | 4 | 0.59s | 4 |
| Heavy shield | 2 | 0.20s | 4 | 0.59s | 5 |
Between 10 and 30 metres, 128 to the head kills an unshielded opponent instantly but leaves a shielded one alive. Body shots take 4 through a heavy shield at this range.
30–50m112 head · 34 body · 28 legs
| Target | Headshots | TTK | Body shots | TTK | Leg shots |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| No shield | 1 | 0.00s | 3 | 0.39s | 4 |
| Light shield | 2 | 0.20s | 4 | 0.59s | 5 |
| Heavy shield | 2 | 0.20s | 5 | 0.78s | 6 |
Between 30 and 50 metres, 112 to the head kills an unshielded opponent instantly but leaves a shielded one alive. Body shots take 5 through a heavy shield at this range.
The Bandit loses damage past 10m. That drop is what decides whether a fight at range still ends in one shot, so it matters far more than the raw damage number.
Handling
What a Bandit buy actually costs
The Bandit is 600 credits on its own, but nobody buys a gun on its own. Adding armour is what turns it into a real loadout, and these are the shield prices straight from the buy menu.
| Loadout | Shield | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Bandit + Light ArmorAbsorbs 66% of total damage taken. Breaks after it has absorbed 25 damage. | 400 | 1,000 |
| Bandit + Regen ShieldAbsorbs 100% of total damage taken. Regenerates after it has absorbed damage. Has a total regeneration pool of 50. | 650 | 1,250 |
| Bandit + Heavy ArmorAbsorbs 66% of total damage taken. Breaks after it has absorbed 50 damage. | 1,000 | 1,600 |
Abilities are on top of these figures and vary by agent, so treat the totals as the floor for a full buy rather than the final number. Heavy armour is what the kill tables above assume — it is the difference between 100 effective health and 150.
How it compares to the other Sidearms
All 6 Sidearms side by side, at point-blank range. The Bandit row is highlighted. Damage falls off with distance on most guns, so these are the best-case numbers — the per-range tables above are the full picture.
| Weapon | Cost | Head | Body | Fire rate | Mag | Body shots to kill |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Frenzy | 450 | 78 | 26 | 10 | 15 | 6 |
| Classic | — | 78 | 26 | 6.75 | 12 | 6 |
| Bandit | 600 | 152 | 39 | 5.1 | 8 | 4 |
| Ghost | 500 | 105 | 30 | 6.75 | 13 | 5 |
| Sheriff | 800 | 159.5 | 55 | 4 | 6 | 3 |
| Shorty | 300 | 22 | 11 | 3 | 2 | 14 |
Body shots to kill assumes a heavy shield, which puts an opponent on 150 effective health. Cost is in credits from the buy menu.
Bandit vs Frenzy
The Bandit kills with one headshot through a heavy shield and the Frenzy does not — that single fact decides most of the argument between them. The Frenzy fires faster at 10 rounds per second against 5.1, which makes it more forgiving when you miss, but it needs a second shot to finish a shielded opponent. Accuracy favours the Bandit; a spray favours the Frenzy.
All 7 Bandit skins
Skins are purely cosmetic — none of them change the numbers above. Higher content tiers add upgrade levels, colour variants and effects rather than any advantage.
| Tier | Skins at this tier | Standard tier price |
|---|---|---|
| Select | 3 | 875 VP |
| Exclusive | 2 | — |
| Deluxe | 1 | 1,275 VP |
| Premium | 1 | 1,775 VP |
Standard single-skin prices for each tier. Most Bandit skins are sold inside a bundle rather than on their own, and bundle pricing sits below the sum of its parts — so treat these as the ceiling, not the receipt.
Bandit FAQ
How many shots does the Bandit take to kill?
Through a heavy shield, 1 headshots or 4 body shots. Against an unshielded opponent it is 1 to the head or 3 to the body.
Does the Bandit one-shot headshot?
Only up to 10m. Past that, headshot damage drops to 112, which no longer kills through a heavy shield — you need a second shot.
How much does the Bandit cost?
600 credits. It sits in the Sidearms section of the buy menu.
Can the Bandit shoot through walls?
Its wall penetration is rated Medium. Higher penetration keeps more damage when shooting through surfaces, which is what makes pre-firing common angles and spraying through soft cover viable.
